I'm trying to get the fuck out.
I had no idea what I was capable of doing within a week until now. The only explanation is, obviously, that all of my professors are working together to kill me. I’m writing two essays everyday in addition to studying for an exam every other. SXSW is literally the light at the end of the tunnel right now.

Anthony Green (Circa Survive / Saosin / TSOAF) had a free mini-show at Waterloo Records before playing a full set with the Dear Hunter. He came on stage and I immediately shouted “SEVEN YEARS” as a joke, but he actually thought about it and ended up saying that he couldn’t play it by himself. Fucking asshole ends his full set (which I couldn’t go to) with seven years (although he did have a band by his side this time), losing.

[ Cracked Window ] - While driving on the highway back to Beaumont (had to pick up a few more things), a rock flew out of nowhere and shattered my entire passenger side window. I planned on getting it fixed on Sunday so I could squeeze in as much fun before actually having to deal with this stupid bullshit, which ended up being a bad idea, considering the entire thing fell out Saturday night (around 4 am). I drove a rental car for the rest of the week and had to make the four hour drive next weekend to pick up my Honda.

My last trip to ATX before making the move final (these photos are from Eric & Megan’s, Dillon’s with me as well). My apartment’s fairly spacious, although (and I do try to be as minimalistic as possible) it still hasn’t stopped me from picking up every random object in my room and ultimately deciding that it’d be better of with me. How am I supposed to let these things go anyways?
Our bachelors’ party for Brandon consisted of: meeting up at a sketchy ass basketball court in downtown around 1 (AM) and playing until four in the morning. It’s shit like this that makes me homesick every damn day.
What is this, high school? The faces I’ve seen lately not only bring back warm memories of skateboarding all day/doing who-knows-what all night & singing ADTR (lol) at the top of my lungs, they have in fact brought these days back to life. I don’t think I’ll ever have friends anywhere like I do down here, although, it’s about time I leave this place again and start getting shit straight. In the end, I’d rather miss something than be tired of it. [Moving to ATX next week]
Had a bag full of confetti and some Drive (the movie) inspired ideas, so we ended up making this video that somehow came out as a tragic love story between two men and the struggles they face on a day to day basis—betrayal, helplessness, and depression. Hahha, but seriously, we were just fucking around and this ended up coming out really gay for some reason, whatever.
These were taken on New Year’s Eve in Orange at a friends backyard, we: stacked up twenty or so Christmas trees, soaked them in gasoline, rigged the center with fireworks, and torched it all. We don’t have much longer.
Joey and I bought this board game called “The Omega Virus” at Goodwill a few days ago for $5. Out of curiosity, we checked to see how much this game might go for on Amazon/Ebay—turns out it’s extremely rare and has been sold for up to $350 (http://www.amazon.com/Milton-Bradley-Company-Omega-Virus/dp/B000Q610JS)
